RBITC initiated the Bengaluru Midnight Marathon, a celebration of the innovative and avant-garde spirit of the city in the year 2007. The Rotary Bangalore IT Corridor (RBITC) initiated the Bangalore Midnight Marathon in Bengaluru, Karnataka in 2007. This event has the unique privilege of being the Asia’s first midnight marathon and India’s only midnight marathon. The Bangalore Midnight Marathon has several advantages – traffic and pollution is less at midnight, the cool temperature of the night is also conducive for running. Large Display Video screens along the track, decorative lighting, live performances by rock bands & plenty of food add to the fun

Chest numbers pick up
Chest numbers will be issued at KTPO, Whitefield from December 12, 2013 from 10:30 am to 6pm. They will also be available till one hour before your race starts.
When is Bengaluru Midnight Marathon 2013? The Race Day is on 14th of December 2013.The IT City Fun Run, Full Marathon, Half Marathon, Corporate Relay, Womens Relay,Community Relay and 10K are the various events.
How do I register for the BMM 2013? You could either register online at www.midnightmarathon.in or at the registration point at Mantri Square Shopping Mall, Malleswaram.
Online Registration: Participants registering online get a form emailed to them or can print online itself. There are some personal details that need to be manually filled out on this. When you come to collect your chest number you need to bring a filled and signed copy of the same along with a photo id of the participant.
What are the charities affiliated with BMM 2013 ? Rotary Bangalore IT Corridor is the primary charity that is affiliated to this event. Rotary Bangalore IT Corridor uses the funds collected at the Marathon for its various charitable initiatives such as supporting spine surgeries, eye surgeries, brain and heart surgeries, polio vaccinations, education, mid-day meals for government school children, environmental projects and more.
Is online registration secure? The online registration is protected using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. All information supplied will be transmitted via SSL which encrypts and protects your personal information over the internet.
When do registrations close? Online and City Malls, bulk Corporate bookings registrations close on December 14, 2012 at 10pm for registrations without timing chips. Thereafter, there will be ‘On the spot’ registrations at Race venue, upto 3 hours before the race start time. Registration with timing chip option will strictly close on December 3, 2012 at midnight. Please note, no chips will be issued for ‘on the spot’ registrations.

Can someone else pick up my chest number? We strongly suggest you pick up your chest number yourself. However someone can pick up the chest number on your behalf if they carry the counterfoil/ ticket issued by Ticket Counter along with an authorization from your side and an original photo ID card of yours.
What is the distance of all the races? IT City Fun Run : 5 km. Full Marathon : 42.195 km. Half Marathon : 21.09 km. Corporate Relay Race : 40 km. (Each of the 8 Participants runs 5 km.) Womens Relay Race : 40 km. (Each of the 8 Participants runs 5 km.) 10 K Run : 10 km. Community Relay : 2.5 km. (Each of the 5 participants runs 500 m.)

What timing device will be used? Timing chip will be provided to every participant who opts for it, for the 10k Run, Full and Half Marathon, as also the Corporate and Women's Relay. Those who do not opt for the timing chip will not be entitled for prize money or timing. They will receive their Certificate without any timing. No timing chip will be given for the spot registrations on Race Day. The chip will only be provided to those who have booked online or at City Malls, before 10pm on December 3, 2012. Please return the timing chips at the end of the race in the designated bins. No timing chip or timing is applicable for the IT City Fun Run. Do I have to pay additional to my registration fees for timing chip? Yes. Rs. 500/- will be the additional fee for Timing
