RBITC initiated the Bengaluru Midnight Marathon, a celebration of the innovative and avant-garde spirit of the city in the year 2007. The Rotary Bangalore IT Corridor (RBITC) initiated the Bangalore Midnight Marathon in Bengaluru, Karnataka in 2007. This event has the unique privilege of being the Asia’s first midnight marathon and India’s only midnight marathon. The Bangalore Midnight Marathon has several advantages – traffic and pollution is less at midnight, the cool temperature of the night is also conducive for running. Large Display Video screens along the track, decorative lighting, live performances by rock bands & plenty of food add to the fun
Start times: IT City Fun Run : 5 pm 10K Women Run: 7 pm 10 K Run : 10 pm Community Relay : 6 pm Full & Half Marathon : 12 midnight Corporate and Women Relays : 12:15 am (All timings subject to change. Please check website for final details closer to Race Day)
